This is officially the last week of the year and Thursday will not only bring the last the day of the year but the last day the market is open for 2015. This year hasn’t been great for stocks but can they redeem themselves even a little this week? Here’s what they had to say, “The Dow, down 1.5 percent year-to-date, ended Thursday at 17,552 with a 2.5 percent gain for the week. The Nasdaq is the standout, up 6.6 percent year-to-date. So the closing week in a dramatic year for stocks will decide the whole year’s performance for the major indexes. Down-to-the wire isn’t unprecedented.
